Hello!

Well it's been exactly one month since I have blogged, but it's summer and I've actually been pretty busy! Seriously, this past week and a half has been amazing. I now really have no patience for being at home. So here's what I've been up to lately..

  • I haven't been on any vacation believe it or not. But I will be gone this Thursday through Sunday because my parents have a concert to go to in Virginia Beach and they are taking me and my brothers with them. Not my favorite beach, but hey I'll take what I can get. And I'm just thankful to be able to do that at all.
  • I got a job! It feels like I've been worrying about this for an eternity, but I finally did. While I'm really excited, I'm also very very nervous about a lot of things. Hopefully it won't be too bad ;)
  • A couple weeks ago I was in a very tiny, minor accident and I go to court for it on Wednesday. (weeks before my actual license ceremony I remind you) I'm so nervous, mainly because I absolutely don't want a DIP class. I don't need it, I'm a good kid who just made a little mistake :) But seriously, I'll cry if they give it to me.
  • Summer is already half way over. But I won't think about that. This is also the first year I don't have to do summer reading, so that's always nice.
  • I'm not nearly as tan as I get in the summer. This makes me really sad. But I guess it's because I haven't been to the pool as much or the beach or anything.
  • Some of the fun things I've been up to: Salem Fair (I love it), helping Tayllar babysit the kiddos, going out to eat with friends more times than I even want to think about, hanging with Emma, going to the pool, late night trips to Sonic, and really just running around town. This summer has been 10x better thanks to being able to drive.
Well I think that's it. Today's Monday (which I normally hate during the school year ;) which means it's Bachelorette night! I can't wait for the finale next week, but I'm still sad over her sending Sean home. Stupid Emily. Ok, have a good week :)

Randoms

  • This has been such a crazy fast week! I swear it was just last Sunday. I'm hoping it doesn't continue this way because summer is only a short 10 weeks.
  • I've developed an extremely low tolerance of sitting at home. I usually don't mind a day or two, but it's getting pretty annoying (unless it's the days we have Emma of course). Most of the time I'm up to do just about anything at anytime, but have a very limited about of people I can do anything with.
  • Speaking of Emma, it is so extremely exhausting taking care of her, but no matter what I always end up missing her as soon as we drop her off. She's clearly my bff these days ;) And she always gets so excited to see me and it just makes me so happy.
  • I'm a little overly excited for the Salem Fair. (Weird, I know.)
  • Usually I live at the pool, but haven't been there much at all this year. This is a big issue because I need to get tan in order to be able to wear my hot pink bathing suit, haha.
  • I have more dr. appointments coming up for my stomach, which I'm not too excited about. I have a strong feeling I'll be tested for Celiac disease. Which means no good food for me.
  • I think I'm finally getting a replacement phone... fingers crossed!
  • I've been super duper jealous of everyone at the beach ... seriously though that's all people talk about on facebook/twitter lately. But I don't blame them.
  • I can't tell you how bad I want to do something crazy and fun, at least one night.
  • Ok that's about all the craziness running through my summer brain right now... I think.

My First Week of Summer

Well I can't believe it, but my first week of summer is already over! For the most part, it was very good. There was a few very boring days though. It was just so nice to be able to sleep in everyday, go to bed whenever, and do pretty much whatever I want. I haven't really been that busy, but here's what I've been up to.

Last Sunday I went to a family cookout at my Grandmother's. We were there pretty much all day. It was a good day and of course I chased Emma all over the place!
Worn out from playing!

Tuesday was the next day that I actually left the house, but it wasn't until about 7. I went to Kayla's birthday campout and it was so fun! And of course we were up most of the night. I really would like to do more stuff like that in the future.

On Thursday, the first thing I did was go to lunch with Tayllar and Clair at Brambleton Deli. That was nice because we have all been friends since elementary school and never really do stuff just the three of us. After that I went to the pool which is always a fun thing to do because there's so many people to hang out with and talk to. Finally after the pool, Kendall and I went to dinner at Rancho Viejo. I was so happy to finally have a busy day!

Friday was also a pretty busy day! Kendall, Matt, Sandy, and I went to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings and then I came home and napped before I went to Mehgan's pool party. I really enjoyed getting to hang out with everyone at once. Kendall, Tayllar, and I also stayed up until 7:00 am (crazy, I know) and got up around 8:00 to go eat breakfast. Saturday once I got home, I slept until 3:00! I didn't even realize how tired I was until I layed down to take a nap. I felt a lot better after that :) Later in the day Kendall and I went for a Kabuki date and then I came home and finally caught up on my sleep!

Overall it was a pretty good first week, but I hope that I can get a little busier because sitting at home for the majority of a week is not a very fun time!

Hellllo Summer!

You have no idea how happy I am to say that! I have been waiting for this for what literally seems like forever. But I do have to admit, as much as this year sucked, it flew by. I can't believe in two months I will be a junior. That is insane! I just can't wait to be in an overall better mood each day since I won't have the constant stress of school.

I don't really have any specific plans for this summer, but I'm sure it will be great! Countless days at the pool, (hopefully) working, sleeping in everyday, and just whatever I can find to do now that I can drive :) Woohoo Happy Summer!

Fun Four Day Weekend!

So I'm a little late on this, but this past weekend I had four days off and it was sooo much fun! Although, I think it ended up being a bigger tease because I couldn't believe I had to go back to school. But that's okay because the best news ever: tomorrow is my last day of school, I have 2 exams, and then I'm free! You have no idea how happy that makes me :) :) Okay, on to my weekend!

Friday I went around town and hung out with Sandy for a few hours. We went to Macado's, Plato's Closet, Menchie's (of course), and just kind of rode around. It was super fun to stay that busy and go wherever we wanted! I came home for a little while and then went to dinner with my mom and dad at Longhorn Steakhouse. It was pretty good, but my stomach was hurting really bad so I didn't really get to enjoy my dinner.

Saturday was a great day! It was the first day the pool was open, which is my life during the summer. I was actually in a way, kind of dreading this because I did not want to be in a bathing suit. Well actually, I still don't want to be in a bathing suit at all, but I'm hoping I can get used to that. I spent 6 hours or so at the pool and then after went to dinner and Maggie Moo's with Kendall. When I got home, I was so exhausted I went straight to bed and slept for almost 12 hours.

Sunday I just went to the pool again for most of the day and then later went to go pick up Emma because we were watching her the next two nights. On Monday, my mom, dad, and I took Emma to the RAC pool and she loved it! She was completely worn out though. I stayed home and watched her for a few hours so my parents could go work out and run some errands, and then we went to Forest Hills pool for a little while with her. It's so much fun to take her, plus it makes her really tired which is kind of a good thing because she's a crazy, energetic, crawling 9 month old these days ;)

Overall, it was a very good weekend. It made me want summer so bad, which luckily isn't very far away! It also made me really want to go to the beach and just live the summer life. I can't wait :)

My Amazing Amazing Weekend

This is probably going to be a pretty long post, just warning ya. I was supposed to go to school yesterday but didn't get home until 6 am and was not feeling good at all at 7:30. I figured it was just from being so tired, but I'm still feeling like that now and am not at school. I'm sure I'm going to have to take all my exams now. Lovely. Anyways, let me tell you allll about my weekend...

Friday after school I went to the gym for a little while, came home and showered, and then went to Red Palace for dinner with Mehgan, Sarah, Lauren, Clair, and Kelsey. It was delicious, but all of that food hurts my tummy. When I got home I did some of the things I needed to do to get ready for the weekend and caught up on a bunch of tv.

Saturday morning I woke up around 8:30, watched The Bachelorette from this past week, and packed for the weekend. We left around 12:30 or 1:00 and got to Cincinnati at about 6:30. We checked into our hotel, got ready, and then got ready for dinner. It was nice to be in a big city like that with most things right in walking distance. After a good dinner, we walked around a good amount of Cincinnati just exploring, and may or may not have illegally eaten cheesecake at Toby Keith's bar & grill ;) (a really funny story actually)

Sunday was a realllly busy great day! We had a good breakfast at the hotel and then went back to the room (with minor shower mishaps) to get ready. Around 1:00 we left to go to a huge mall that they had there. We stayed there until almost 3:00 and then went to the movies to see What To Expect When You're Expecting. It was such a cute, funny movie. I loved it! Then we headed back to the mall for just a little while, then had dinner at Cheesecake Factory. Which everyone knows is always delicious. Finally, it was time to head to the concert. I was so excited, I mean I had been waiting for this since Christmas. It was a sold out show so I knew it would be crazy. Every part was so good. Scotty- well I just love him. And I can't wait to go to his own concert one day. I also got a tshirt of his. ( couldn't resist) The Band Perry- they were very entertaining. I was surprised at how good of a singer the girl was. They also did a cover of Fat Bottemed Girls, which I really liked. And finally, Brad Paisley- he's in my top three, if not my favorite, country singers. Seriously. It was unbelievable I was actually seeing him. He played for two hours straight, non stop, and was so hilarious. And probably one of the best guitar players I've ever heard. It was such an amazing concert and well worth the wait. Here's a bunch of pictures and a vid.

This Crazy Week

So this has been a very very busy week for me!

On Monday I went to Macado's with my mom for dinner. It was so hard to resist that Madison Mud Pie. I'm really dying to have a good dessert lately, but ya know, the pool opens next weekend so none of that for me :) After that we just ran a few errands and then came home and pretty much went right to sleep.

Tuesday was the first day of my SOL's. It was for Biology and pretty easy I thought. I still don't know what I got on it though. After school I went to the gym and worked out for about 45 minutes, got dinner at Taco Bell (kinda contradicts the gym I guess), and then got my eyebrows done. When I got home I showered and then watched the 2 hour Glee episode. It was sooooo good and I'm really sad the season finale is next week. I'll also be interested to see how next season works out with the majority of everyone in college.

Wednesday I had my History SOL. I'm about 70% sure I didn't pass and 100% sure I didn't pass advanced. Most of all the material was from the first semester when we didn't really do anything in class, so it was pretty hard. After school Tayllar, Kayla, and I went to play racquetball at the gym and then Kayla and I went to Froth and did a bunch of gossiping until her mom came and picked her up :) I got home pretty early Wednesday and just watched a bunch of Toddlers and Tiaras and caught up on other tv.

Thursday I got to go into school late because I didn't have an SOL. Tayllar, Kelsey, Trey, Kayla, and I all went to Famous A's for breakfast. We were supposed to be at school at 11:30, I think I got there at about 11:45, and then still had to wait until 12:30 for testing to be over. It was such a waste of a day. After 3 hours of school I went to the gym again and then went tanning at the pool for a little bit with Kendall :) When I got home I didn't do too much besides watch tv and then American Idol. Yay Phillip! :)

And today, I also don't have to be at school until 11:30  but I'm definitely not going in that early based on yesterday. After school is over I'm planning on going to the gym and then I think to dinner. I also have a bunch of stuff to do when I get home to get ready for this weekend. It's honestly going to take me the rest of the afternoon. But I'm so excited for the concert Sunday. Yaaaaay :)

Okay, well I know this has been a super long post but I just get so excited when I have a good week to write about! Have a good weekend :)
